| bōbē (pronounced “beau-bee”), was launched in 2005 by entrepreneur, Marlese Sears, offering customers fresh, custom bath and body products, made to order.
The unique name, an acronym for “beyond ordinary bath essentials,” began as a funny family memory for Sears: a misspelled pet name. At the age of eight, Sears’ younger brother brought home a new fish, intended to be named “Bobby.” Bobby’s name was misspelled as “Bobe.” The name stuck and now lives on through bōbē.
Sears has since become a master mixologist, combining some of the most exotic ingredients to create her unique body butters, lip balms, perfumes, lotions, scrubs and cleansers.
bōbē is independently woman-owned and operated, with a keen focus on customer service and satisfaction. Products are made fresh at the time the customer places an order, and always made in small batches using few, simple ingredients.
Purchasing is fun and easy for customers. First, they choose their desired product. Next, they choose from 50 scents that range from intoxicating vanilla to juicy, tart lemon, and everything in between. And every product can be mixed with any one of those 50 scents, creating an amazing collection of product options. Lip balms are available in 70 yummy flavors, made in small batches, with the perfect kiss of sweetness.
bōbē believes strongly in giving back and supporting the community. Each month, 5% of bōbē retail sales are given to a different charity. Please feel free to visit the charities’ websites to find out more about the organizations.
